Day 2 - Kopje Onder
The very first Secret Friend gifts were given out today! Every participants received the name of another participant and the gifts that would make him or her happy, which will then be revealed and given the next morning.
As we would go to Poldersporting in the afternoon in teams, we followed the gifts from Secret Friend by a walking interview, during which we walked through the forrest in pairs and got to know more about each others daily life. After coffee break we played the Blanket Game, which is all about speed. A blanket was held between two participants from both competing teams, after which as soon as the blanket fell, the participant shouting the other's name the soonest would win.
After the Blanket Game came the 'Eggcersize', during which the different family groups would compete against each other by creating the best fall protector for their egg. Sadly, one of the eggs died. However, after lunchbreak during which we mourned the death of said egg, we were heading towards the 'Boerinn' where we would play the Poldersports!
These included games which ranged from Tarzan swinging to sack hopping. It was a lot of sunshine, water and smiles (and very intense competition). I recommend taking a look at the pictures! The BBQ afterwards was well deserved.
The day ended with the introduction to the Killer Game, which brought some healthy and fun competition within the group. Below some beautiful pictures!
