Day 7 - Erasmus

06-08-2019

The very very last day in the Netherlands and also one of the most important ones: today the participants would reflect on what they have learned, what skills they have developed throughout the week and write their Youthpasses.

Before they would write their Passes, they had a small workshop during which they learned more about Erasmus+, what is does and for who it is for. They were divided in groups and would search information about the different aspects it covers, and hold a small presentation in front of the other participants about their subject. These included what kind of trainings Erasmus+ makes possible, how they stimulate sports and education.

After lunchbreak, we closed of the Killer Game and revealed everyone's Secret Friend. This reveal was quite hilarious at times, as one person was blindfolded and was supposed to guess who their Secret Friend standing in front of them was by touch. We also got back to the Hopes, Fears and Contributions that the participants shared at the beginning of the Exchange. At the end, everyone was quite content with how their HF&C's developed throughout the week (the fears got less, of course).Another essential part of the day before we packed our bags was the final evaluation, where the participants got to share their feelings about all the different activities they had done throughout the week. Not every single activity was as fun as expected, however, everyone was overall positive about the activities and workshops.

Then it was time for packing bags and heading towards the Lotus Restaurant, a Chinese restaurant in the town where we had an almost-all-you-can-eat meal. Of course, lots of people overestimated themselves as that would happen. The night was a relaxing night, with lots of packing, some cleaning up and overall getting ready to get up early and leave for our next destination: Prague!
